Anemone with mind of it's own.

I thought Anemone's were supposed to like lighting?!!!

Mine wants nothing to do with it and moves himself into deep dark crevices....why??!!!

How do I keep him in the open?

Thanks!!

If they are not acclimated they may be in an adjustment.

For example if they are used to VHO/T-5 and then you move them to a high MH tank, they may not like it.

Mine tend to wander a lot before/during/after splitting...

I think I had a three way split last night... Woke up to find 3 nem's in the overflow... Luckily my new "nem stopping intake tube" seems to have done it's job, but I had fun fishing 'em all out and putting 'em back in the tank proper!

I had a HUGE Green BTA than wandered into the rockwork one day, and I didn't see it for over a year, then one day this TINY lil' pitiful GBTA wandered back out into the light... It's bigger than a large dinner plate now...

That's cool I bought a XL lavender one from Frank and the first place it went was the back glass and it has stayed there and it's huge.

Here's a really silly newbie question then:

I'd love to keep one of the RBTA, I think they are absolutely gorgeous. I love how the bright red/rose tentacles sway in a current.

How do you keep them "permanently interested" in a particular spot?

Not really possible. Some folks make an 'anemone island' separated from the rest of the rockwork. Even then, though, they sometimes completely let go and float around the tank.
