Anemone moving - Touching my lps

[Having never had an Anemone before I have to ask. Mine has moved from one side of a rock to another. His far reaching tenticles are now touching my Mont Cap and a few of my LPS. Should I be concerned or just leave them where they are?It doesnt seem to be affecting them as they are still in full bloom.Just worried it may sting them.

Thanks

[BTAs (and RBTAs) are known to kill corals when they wander. So either move the anemone or the corals now.]

[ok thanks Marc / Matt ! Then i did the right thing!! I moved everything that was close to it to another location. They will thank me for it in the long run.

[Just curious, what type of anemone do you have? Did I miss this information?]

[Once the anenome finds its "spot" how much will it move. I thought the moving issue was it trying to find it happy place. Dont they stay put once this spot is found??]

[Once they find a place they are happy with in terms of flow and lighting, they will likley stay put for the most part. Theres nothing stopping them from changing thier mind or wanting a change of scenery though. Thats why I suggest if you have to have an anemone, add it first, which is a catch 22 because thier better to add to a mature tank.]

[This guy never actually moved locations. His foot is attached underneath a rock and usually he is leaning out to the right side as you look at the tank. A few days ago he deflated and emerged on the left side of the rock, touching a few of my LPS that were previously far away from him :). he seems to fabor the left side of the rock this week !

[Must be a seasonal thing, or daylight's savings time. :p]

[I can't wait till my Rose BTA settles. I know they aren't the thing to through in with a bunch of corals, but we have a Ocellaris Clown that she worried was depressed because he had no home!! She drove me crazy about it, so I gave in and got it. Well-- the Ocellaris didn't want anything to do with it.
I loved it- said now lets take it back, and instead she bought a Tomatoe Clown that feeds the RBTA. Now the RBTA is driving me crazy. I do beleive that there has been less moving around though in the last 3 days-- so just maybe he has found a place called home.]

[I just bought one from txfireman. So far, so good. I left a large mound of coral empty for it to wander around on, and planned on stocking the mound after the rose settles. Any insight as to how long I should wait?

I added the rose last night and it was all over the place, though it never left the rock it came with. I leaned the rock up against the mound. I do kind of wish it would move onto another rock, since the one it came with has aiptasia. :(]

[Point a powerhead at it and it will move.]
