Well here it is in its infancy. To give a quick background, i have been out of the hobby since i moved here in May. I picked up the tank from a member here and have been slowly peicing it together as time has allowed.

Fiji purple
Aquablue special,
Blue +
Lumenbright moonlight (from the christmas social)
20l diy sump
Acjr with ph and temp probes, dc8, dc4hd
Using acserial2web to remotely have web control as well as a live webcam
Aquac ev120 skimmer powered by mag 7
Mag 7 return
Tlf reactors, one with carbon, one with brightwell phosphatr

So i have made a ton of changes over the course of the last two months,
Skimmer changed to insump reef octopus, i liked the ev120, but at times it was a pain to dial in
Still have the t5s, but i have ordered my leds and are waiting on them to ge here so i can make the fixture
Ordered 2 mp10wes for better flow throughout the tank
Switched out the acjr with an apex, along with the wireless module for control of the leds as well as control of the mp10s
Hoping to get the leds done and he mp10s in and programed before nextwave

Heres a couple of recent pictures, much more to come.

Love the tank. How long did it take you to get those rocks covered in zoa's like that? said:
The two larger colonys were bought that way for the most part, although i am getting great growth with the zoas, the nuclear greens started as two heads just amonth ago and are already 7 heads, makes me hesitant to change to led, but onward and forward i say!

Setting up my mp10s along with wxm module this morning, hopefully i will have the led lights installed this afternoon! Super stoked, but i want to take my time and get it all programed in the apex the right way. I am off till after nextwave so i have plenty of time to get it all done, plus gotta get ready for a max influx of frags from nextwave!

the originl skimmer was, i have since switched it out fr a reef octopus in the sump

Well, i got the mp 10s in and programmed, but ran into a snag with the led project. A meanwell eln 68 27d i am using for the reds ond oddbll leds is stuck at 2500 ma, glad i didnt fry them...... Emailed mike at rapidled and am awaiting a response.

Well this sucks, i thought i would have heard from rapidled, but no response yet.....

heard from rapidled, and he is out of stock on these till april! i can either send it in to meanwell, the turnaround is 6 weeks, or rig it up with a 1k pot from radio shack.......gonna go the radio shack route. new problem sucks way more, On my apex he v2/v4 ports are stuck at 14v regardless of the state. found a thread
http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1882291 and all of them say they had the same problem and it has to get sent to neptune and get repaired.....pretty crappy for a $500 device less than 2 months old.

Well got my apex issue worked out and the leds are on the tank. Holy blue batman, right now i have the blues at 60 percent and the whites at 60 percent. The reds, greens, and true violets will have to wait till april when they get some smaller 0 to 10v power supplies in stock as the radio shack fix didnt work. Things are coming along nicely for this being this young of a tank. I think we passed the 2 month mark this last week. I am also looking forward to bringing some cheries home from nextwave, so we will see. And lastly a couple of crappy tablet pics, thats the next thing i need to buy is a decent slr again my last one took a swim in the san marcos river.... I will let you guess how that turned out.

Just got back from west texas and things are looking great, with the exception of some bubble algae creeping up, i believe it was on one of the nextwve fraga, as they have not been observed since nextwave. Not to bad though only 2 spots i saw, gogo emerald crabs... Lol. Few pics with the new additions from next wave
