I have a 90 gallon with a 3.5 inch V. lion, a 4 inch foxface, a tomini tang and a small snowflake eel. Is that too much? It seems fine to me, but I just want to be sure...Thanks!!

Our filter is a fluval 405, and we have a seaclone 100 skimmer. i am going to be replacing that with a coralife super skimmer 220 in a couple of weeks. all of the water readings have been fine, and i do weekly water changes. i plan on upgrading to a 150 or a 180, but that probably won't be until next spring....

yeah, i know. it's done fine so far, but i am upgrading it to the coralife super skimmer 220. i am ordering it online in two weeks. but other than that, what do you think? thanks!!

IMO that is not to much. I was refering to the super skimmer also. For the price there are some better options out there. E.T.S.S, lifereef and others that i would go with.

Ohhhhh. sorry, i guess i totally misread that. hmm...i have a coralife on my 40 gallon and i love it. maybe i will do a little more research before i buy. either way, its going to be better than the seaclone that i have now. lol

IMO I would just put the $150 or so dollars that you spend on the coralife skimmer and buy a good used skimmer. I ran a bakpak, seacrap-i mean seaclone, and a home made skimmer which I thought all of them worked well until I got my current one a Euroreef RS80. Its night and day difference in the skimmers, it'll skim like crazy (not now cause its dirty, but thats my fault). I got mine for a buck fifty off ebay, you can find something around that price. The guys on here know their skimmers.

just my 2 cents.
