Alternative Tunze 6000 Placements

I have a 4x2x2 (single corner overflow) with a new 4" DSB and dual 6000s with 7095 controller. As per the manual and suggestions posted on RC, I located the 6000s in the back corners with the output converging in the front center of the tank. Even on minimal 30% flow I excavated the front center of my DSB. After a little experimenting, I now have the streams located in the front corners point back towards the center of the rock stack. I'm able to pulse up to at least 80% without disturbing the DSB. I'm also able to locate my soft corals out of the direct flow and my thought would be to locate SPSs (when I eventually add some) more in the direct "line of fire" of the 6000s. As long as I can live with the 6000s being prety visible in the tank, is this an okay solution for my present and future reef inhabitants?

As soon as the sand settles a little moer and my tank clears, I'll post some pics. TIA!

Kyle, how high up do you have the 6000s? Could you put the streams on either side of the overflow? One blowing down the back of the tank and the other blowing towards the front and banking off the front glass?

I have a pair of 6100s in my 120 (2 middle overflows) and I have my streams on the back wall facing forward. Now, I don't have sand to worry about since my tank is barebottom, but it seems to keep the upper water column moving pretty well.

BTW, I wouldn't put any sps "in the line of fire" of a 6000, it will ripe the flesh right off them.
