I have a batch of Kalk freshly made, and I want to dose at night thru a Toms lift-pump at about 60 drops / minute......



Q: Reasonably, how quickly can I dose 1/2 gallon of Fresh RO-Kalk into my 120 without issue at the rate above ?

I am thinking 1/2 gallon over an hour into a 120 should be no biggie, right ?

thats probably way too much, too quickly

people normally drip kalk WAY slower than that, drop a second area

I bought a Toms aqualifter which I am throttling with an IV restrictor.
It's being used as a dosing pump and is actually quite good at that job.

I am getting about 45 drops per minute which I figured would empty a 1 gallon jug in about 2-1/2 hours.


This is as low as I could get it without the pump stalling out, or the exit tube spitting.
