Algone Additive

[david540i]

Has anyone ever used Algone?

Does it/will it kill off Coraline Algae as well? I would like to try and get rid of some hair algae and also reduce my nitrates but dont want to kill my coraline algae.

Would this stuff be compatible with reg carbon usage?

Any bad or good experiences with this stuff?

Short answer - I don't think it would harm Coraline

Long answer - Here's a previous thread with quite a bit of discussion on it:

Hope that helps!
