Algea Eating Fish

Hey all! I have a new 12 gallon reef. I have 12-15 lbs. of live rock and about 20 cleanup snails including 3 astreas and several conch snails. I am getting what I believe to be hair alge which blows my mind! There is no reason that crap should survive. OKI boo-booed once and topped it off w/a little spring water  Other than that miniscule topoff a week ago with it i've been good to my tank. My snails aren't getting it all clean but they are helping.

I need more help! My ammonio, nitrate and nitrite are all almost zeroed so i'm ready for a fish. I would like one who could help nibble on my algea before my small issue becomes a real issue. What fish are good for that? Also, my wife likes cute so it would be nice if they were cute and usefull (No i don't have Nemo-Syndrome!). Thanks guys!

Be patient, if you do not feed the system and just do water changes. The algae will finally use up the remaining nitrogen in the system and start to die off. And with the help of the snails and other cleanup crew the tank will get clean. When I first added new lierock to my first tank it took me almost three months for the hair algae to die off. Of course that nitrogen was coming from 175lbs. of uncured liverick.
