AI's or Radion for Neptune Controllability? Help!

I am a New owner of the Neptune APEX, I am looking for advice on what LEDs to purchase. I am looking at the AquaIllumination Hydra FiftyTwo LED Fixture and also the EcoTech Marine Radion XR30w Gen3 LED Light Fixture, I am looking at the controllability of the lights with the Neptune System.

I made a purchase of the Reef Radiance, but the order is on the slow boat from China.

Any Advice would be appreciated.

both will need an additional module to control either the ai or radion through the apex. if you are going to run ecotech MP pumps then i would go with radion as the WXM module will work with both the radions and MP pumps.

I talked to a rep at MarineDepot.com and he said that the Radions are not fully ready yet for Neptune Control? not sure what he meant.

I run an apex and ecotech pumps but still like AI lights. I helped beta test their Director and am quite happy with it to the point where I don't think I will use the Neptune module to control the lights.

The apex and WXM can do a lot right now for your radions, more than enough for most people. Here are the instructions for it:

It might not do 100% of the functions the reeflink or fusion software might offer but you can program them just fine.

Actually I have not updated to Fusion yet. One thing I found interesting at the Apex presentation was that if your internet is down you cannot log into your controller to change settings or work on anything through your wifi. At least that was my understanding after Keith's question. One thing I like the AI system is that you can still work on it, change settings, etc. if your internet is down but your wifi is still working. I suppose you have limited access on the Apex by going through the display module but that doesn't seem like it could do everything like programming. Probably not a big deal unless your internet is really spotty but something that I found interesting. I always try to think of worst case scenario.
