Air, Water, Ice RO Unit

Does anybody have the basic unit from these guys? I'm trying to install mine, for some reason the water never reaches the fourth chamber, all the water goes out to waste line, even when I close the waste valve its still coming out. Its really frustrating  !

Agreed. If you go to Home Depot or Lowes, purchase a 1/4" John Guest ball valve and place it on the waste line.

Turn on the system, and close the waste line's valve when you get a 4:1 ratio. (I cup good water, 4 cups waste)

Done.

It may not be elegant, but it works.

I closed it completely yesterday, but after an hour or so, I felt like the pressure in the system was building up, still nothing was coming out, and the message on their site said:

NEVER RESTRICT IMPEDE OR STOP WASTE WATER FLOW OF YOUR SYSTEM said:
kinda made me feel uneasy about continuing to see what happens. I was thinking maybe its the ASOV that's acting up, since its purpose is to stop anything from flowing in the last chamber if the pressure increases in the output.

BTW it does have a valve on the waste line (flow restrictor I guess) but even when its completely closed (at right angle to the line) the waste water is still dripping.

I don't have that ro unit.
you can check to see that the RO membrane is installed in the right direction.
you can also try running the unit without the ro membrane installed.
also check to make sure that the asov is connected correctly or test it without the asov installed.

Looks like the membrane did dry up, the unit was in storage for over a year, is there a way to un-dry it lol? Or throw it away?

You will need to replace the membrane then.
