AI Prime (nonHD) as fuge light?

Hello all -Question: I have an AI Prime (non HD) that I'm pulling off my tank.  Any thoughts on its effectiveness as a refugium light? My sump is small (the Trigger Ruby 36) so the fuge portion is 8x12.  Would it have enough power to grow?  Buying a $300 fuge light isn't in the cards any time soon.  I have tried a CFL bulb without much success.Thoughts? In case anyone ever stumbles on to this topic, it worked GREAT.  I have one of the primes running red at 100% and the other running 100% violet and 100% deep blue (about 14watts total) at about 6" off the water from 9:30p - 8:30a (basically opposite my display setup) nightly.  Chaeto is growing great and there is zero algae in the tank.Don't know if it was the right way to do it, but it works great for me.
