My powder blue tang and black saddle back clowns are covered wtih ich or mareine velvet.Have had clowns for over 1 year and blue tang for 3-4 months. Other fish (yellow tang , manderin, royal gramma, long nose hawk, and enginneer goby seem fine. We do not have a seperatetank with no inverts to do 6 weeks of hyposalinity. we are feeding garlic. Are there any dips like fresh water or lugols that might help? Any other advice ? If iI was able to cathc these fish and dip them , would they just get it again? If the affected fish are removed will the parasites still be in tank with the uneffected fish ? We did have an incident where the PH shot up to over 9 and we had a white out--we caught it quickly and did a 50%water change--but the fish were probably quite stressed--this was about 1 month ago.
