Adding a Bubble Top

I have a 20gal with 2 Percula Clowns and a choc chip star. I want to introduce a bubble top to the tank. What hardware do I need on the tank. I currently have a power filter (with only bioballs no filter cartridges) and a power head for water current and a coralife 65w light. Do I need a protien skimmer for that small of a tank? What do I need to know about the water, testing, chemicals etc? The tank has been established for about
2 1/2 years and have not lost a fish in about 2 years.
Thanks

Anemones feed both from the zooxanthellae living in their tissues (so they like strong light) and from smaller meaty items that they can catch.

While your tank has been established for a good long time, what are the parameters? Anemones do well in tanks with low nitrates and stable alk.

That is a small tank for an anemone (Bubble Tip, correct? ) that can easily grow to 14" in diameter or more.

I had one in my 29g for a couple of years, but I had 165w of lighting, a protein skimmer and a sump with refugium. The more stable the water quality, the better your likelihood for success.

I agree. get rid of the bioballs, use protein skimmer. it's better for the tank.

I feed mine 1/2 a piece of raw shrimp every other day or 2. My RBTA loves it!! you can even see the smile when it sees me approaching with the shrimp XD

but it also poops out giant poop.. which my sea cucumber would eat... *gross*
