Acro + Bubble Tip = !?

*Anxious mother alert*

Soooo my pink/red bubble tip anemone is not quite situated in his new home and walked nearly onto my small (1.5") acro frag... Its nighttime now but will the Acro suffer from the anemone's sting? The anemone itself is as large as a large grapefruit. I'm just worried about the acro, its the only one I have thats lived and actually grown.

it is my experiance that the nems sting can, and most likely will, kill the acro where the touch

I've never lost an acro to a BTA, but have read that they can do some damage.

Ya be prepared to lose it. they can pretty much destroy any sps in it's path. If it just brushes once in a while ok but if it is exposed to the BTA for any length of ti,e it will be toast. The good part is they tend to settle down after a while and then not move at which point they are pretty safe, knock on wood.

Well I'll keep my fingers crossed and put some phyto in the tank, nothing helps a bump or bruise like a nice meal. Unfortunately where the acro is, its the only really vacant spot on that base rock AND all 3 of my BTAs are on there. Only the pink one is moving around and the other two are much smaller...

Edit: The acro is opened up today, and the anemone moved over to another rock... Keeping my fingers crossed!
