A few pics of some of my favorite inverts

Just wanted to share a few pics. Our pistol shrimp has finally gotten more bold and has allowed us to take a few shots of him, and the other is our peacock mantis running away after a food grab. Enjoy.

Just an update, after having the pistol for almost a year he recently died. Because of that though we got to see some of our tongan super nasarius snails that we thought we had lost. They made their way up from the sand to help with the burial process.

Also after having our mantis for 9 months she finally has a name. Pandora.

Well I think it is true. If you name one of your creatures get ready to watch it leave this world. I can't wait until we can afford another mantis. I am going to miss her so much because it was always great to wake up and see what she was doing every morning. I am going to research and see if there are any others that are cool looking and as active as the peacock. If any of you have any good ideas about them feel free to chime in. Wes I know you like them so if you have any advice I would love to hear from you.

we looked at a bunch of the smaller ones because they were so brightly colored, but ended up with another peacock cause maria didnt want a spearer. one i really wanted was a larger species with white and black like a zebra. sorry for your loss, good luck getting another!
