A few newbie questions.

I have been in this hobby for about 6 months but now i am upgrading from a 5.5 to a 30 and have a few newbie questions.

1. What is southdown sand, where do you get it and what is the difference between that and the pulvarized limestone?

2. I have a mag 7 return pump and i am not sure what size plumbing to use. It is going into a SCWD so keep that in mind. Also i have a CPR 100 overflow what size plumbing does that need?

3. And last thing i made a nice DIY stand and canopy over the weekend and have a bunch of pics. What program do you use to resize the picture?

Thanks for the help.

1. Southdown is Aragonite sand, but it's not found in this region. Since it costs so much to have it shipped down here, that's why a lot of us have gone to the Pulverized Limestone. As to the differences, I'm not an expert on that, but I BELIEVE I read somewhere they're both mined from the same area (Don't quote me on that though, it's been a Monday, and my brain's taking a break!)

2. Er... no clue

3. Assuming you're using Windows, the simplest solution would be to install the Microsoft Power Tools Resizing Application:

Once this is installed, you can RIGHT-Click on an image, and resize it...
