600 Gallon Work Tank

I had meant to put pictures up of the reef and aggressive tank at my work (Perot Systems) for a while, but never got around to taking pictures. the tank is actually 1 solid tank divided into 2 sections. One half used to be a reef and one half used to be an aggressive tank but it has recently changed unfortunately. Now the aggressive half which used to house a few baby sharks is a cichlid tank. Each section is 72" long, 30" deep and 36" tall holding about 300 gallons in each section. The reef side has metal halide lighting and lots of corals and fish all maintained by a LFS. If its you id be interested to know.

you can see a single close up of the cichlid tank here

I know who use to handle it... just glad they don't anymore. :D

I know that the tank use to hold small sharks from a group in Calafornia, but the morality rate was quite high.

Both sides use to be salt... kind of a shame that they converted one side to a freshwater side...

The guy that takes care of the tank is named Pedro.

I was able to find that out a while back after talking with Libby who is the one that feeds the tanks each morning other then that I do not know much about him.

Since converting the predator tank to a reef they have lost several fish including the Naso.
