All, I have a Hamilton 60" combo hood. It has 2 250w phoenix 14K and 2 60" actinic bulbs. Do you think if I were to mount this in the middle of a hood on a 72" tank it would be enough light? My thought is no, that the edges wouldn't get the light. I have thought about going total DIY on lighting for a 72X36 aquarium hood. If I need to change, what DE refectors and power supplies would work good for MH and t5? I know reflectors have been thourly discussed so I will do some reading tonight.
