45g corner tank - fish list

TIA

I am selling the maroon that is in there currently and this tank will house at first a YCG and a false perc. Of course, there will be some cleaning crew as well.

I have about 55-60 pounds of LR, and an additional 5-7 pounds will be added next week after I break my 10g (my first SW tank) down. Some of the LR came from this tank, and I will be adding the sand from that tank too via PVC straight to the bottom. Ahh, that'll be a fun day

Ok, down to business...

I was hoping to add a couple more fish that wont harm corals. I haven't yet decided whether I want to go LPS/SPS or SPS/Softies.

I would like either a black cap basslett or a bicolor psuedochromis, I have read where the psuedo is aggressive so it kinda makes me a bit leery because of the YCG (getting rid of him is not an option and I dont want to keep him in the 10 all by him/her self). Would the basslett cause problems too?

I would also like to get a lawnmower blenny, but am going to wait awhile to add this one. Ideally it would be last, no specific reason just sounds good.

And lastly I would wish for a anthia, I read where sunburst anthias can be housed in a 30+ gallon tank, but I also know they are swimmers so I am worried about the confines of my tank. What would be a good idea for a reef friendly fish with loads of personality who wont terrorize my tank?

Oh, and would keeping jawfish with a YCG cause problems too? After seeing jbrown's thread on them....I want two.

I look forward to your suggestions and thank you very much for your help.

Lawnmower blennys are just a potluck. Mine died a long, starving death since he refused any form of prepared food. He also refused capture for an assisted death.

Have you thought about wrasses instead of a pseudochromis? Sixlines are nice and stay small. Their compatibility is questionable but they don't nip and if added last won't bother their neighbors.

Thank you Yvette.

I've wanted a six-line for sometime and have thought about adding one at some point, just wasn't sure when would be best. Adding him last would be perfect. I've read they like to eat some zoa pests so that may be a double bonus.

Thanks again.

A 6line in a 45 might be problematic depending on the fish. They tend to be rather aggressive so if you add one, make sure its last. Even then, watch carefully for aggression. Some of the other wrasses, like flashers, mystery wrases and the like are better small tank fish.

I'd read up on the Anthias. Wetwebmwdia has some really good articles on them. They do really well in Large tanks. I had alot better success when I fed small amounts afew times a day. They kind of remind me of Hummingbirds. High Motablism! Did I spell that right?

thank you both for your input. I have been reading more and more on anthias and I think I will have to wait until my next upgrade for them.

I am thinking of maybe getting a blue/green chromis, possibly 3-4 of them actually. Do you think that work instead of anthias?
