30 Gallon Oceanic Cube Build

I upgraded my Oceanic cube just sitting around after upgrading to the 90.

It was set up with a hang on overflow with a 250 mh and pc actinic.

Drilled tank and painted the background black. Added plumbing.

Will be using a Warner Marine MF-121 skimmer.

Will be using the Kessil A350 for lighting.

Unfortunately the goose neck is on backorder to a couple of weeks.

Looking good, I see you didn't skimp on the equipment. I've seen those kessils in person and they put out alot of light.

How are you returning the water from the sump? You going to run plumbing up, over the top?

I am being lazy for the return.

Using flexible hose connected to a standard nozzle return.

I would recommend going ahead and having it drilled for a return as well while it is empty. Especially with an open top which I'm assuming you will have with the Kessil light, it will give a nice clean look.

Curious, Is this tank going to have a theme or special purpose?

No special theme.

Really just needed another project.

Plan on a mixutre of sps and chalices.

Will move contents of biocube to this tank.
