28 Gallon JBJ Nano Cube Set Up

just finished setting up my 28 gallon and everything looks great (for starters), but i am having trouble positioning my hydor circulation pumps. if i set them up like i have in my larger tank, the sand in 2 corners flies everywhere. so i tried facing them both together so get the waves to crash against each other (like my bro advised, prolly wrong). i still dont think its creating enough waves. can anyone give me an idea of where to position them in my tank? i hope im posting in the right area .

p.s., should i turn one circulation pump off at night?

and theres my red stripe angelfish. isnt he beautiful?

I have two mp10s on a 30 cube and they are half way up the glass in as close as I could get to the center front to back and straight across from each other. I dont have any problem with the sand being moved. Can you control the power on those? If so you may try turning them down.

With the placement that you have them now it seems like the flow is blocked by the back wall which would cause that portion of the flow to go either down or up. I hope that makes sense.
