24G Aquapod

I've been a member for a while but have never posted pics of my Aquapod. I bought this tank after breaking down my 75G and moving from old house almost 2 years ago to help keep me from going into withdrawl shock. I am about 4 weeks away of getting my 210 :shock: up and running and obviously very exited. Once it is up most of this will be moved into there. I will keep this as a FOWLR and am thinking a dwarf lionfish and a Valentini Puffer as my "aggressive" tank. :lol:

I'm picking up an aquapod 24g this weekend from a member.

Does yours have the MH lighting fixture on top or the PC? If its the MH light, have you had any heat issues with it? Just curious.
 
Yes it is the 70W MH and yes I have had issues especially if I use the glass top. It acts like a greenhouse. In the summer months I usually take the glass top off and put a fan blowing across the water surface that will keep the heat in check.

No. I have had this a year and a half. I bought it iwhen I moved into my new house to give me my "fix" until I could get my big tank up.
