20k bulb

Bought new 20k reeflux bulbs and they suck. Look more like 14k and they are different colors. One has a hint of blue and the other is white. Oh and they suck did I mention that.

Yeah alot of complaints on rc that the 20k shift colors. You need to go radiums for single ended or ushio for double ended
 
Ya I have SE. I have not had a prob with color shift they stay consistant. But they are just different colors and not as blue as I was thinking they would be.
 
Well I could not take looking at my tank with one white side and one blue side. So I took the bad bulb back and the swapped it for a new one. I hope that the new bulb is blue like the other. Lights kick on at 2 so we shall see.
But next time I will buy better bulbs
 
Well the new bulb has a hint of blue too so they both match. Much better then the yellow look on the bad bulb. Still not happy with the look but at least the match.
