i didn't clean the hair algea or razor blade the glass though

i just finally got my red slime issue taken care of. This is the best it's looked in months
 
yeah, prety peacful once i removed my female gsm a while back

Now all i need is a green slimer for the center upper area, and maybe some purple caps (i have green and red)
 
Looking nice...I just love when tanks start looking mature...I have upgraded every few months so have never had one...this time I will.

How did you beat the red algae?
 
after months of siphoning and reduced ligthing and feedings. (i have always used 0 tds water and reefcrystals)

i ended up using a product call red slime control by blue vet

this stuff worked awesome in one shot with no ill effects and the slime has not returned

i believe melev tried this stuff once also with good success
