2 cleaner shrimp ok in a 46g bow?

I recently bought 2 really small cleaner shrimp. I have a 46g bow with a purple tang, regal tang, clam, some sps, and 2 clown. All the fish are pretty small since I only have a 46G bow....for now. The tank has been going for about 2years now and everything is doing fine. Couple of baby stars(smaller than a dime) and a bunch of tiny snails. So inverts appear to be ok but I haven't seen the shrimp for 2 days even at feedings......Is this normal? Are they territorial? Do you think another fish would have eaten him? I would think if something was wrong I would see it in the corals or the clam. No signs that he jumped out of the tank.

more than likely just hiding in the back. None of the fish you listed will kill your cleaner shrimp and I've never heard of a cleaner shrimp jumping. I would give it some time, they'll probably show themselves.

I would agreed that it is normal when adding new cleaner shrimp where you don't see them for a few days. If you don't see them after a month, then I would be concerned.

When they totally disappear for a few days they are usually molting. So if you see its skeleton laying on the bottom one day don't worry unless a week goes by and you still haven't seein it :)

Mine usually have hung under or behind rockwork the first few days after being introduced to the tank.
