I just purchased a dual RR 180 setup from Bpynkle here on MAS i just got done putting it back together and running........ the first time i went to Brians house to get some frags i saw the system and fell in love with it . real basic Calcium Reactor , sump , skimmer , T-5 HO lighting and a BB (bare bottom ) on top of everything and came up with awesome growth. so here is some pics of it at its new home ive had it a week as of yesterday. the hardest part of this was carrying the 200 gallons of water up stairs :lol: but it paid off allowing me to balance the system quickly. My plan with this setup is going to be alot of SPS and LPS with just types of zoas and some shrooms going to be hard finding good places for every one to be happy later down the road
 
this mis my 4th big tank in the same spot so i hope it can hold this one i have concrete under that carpet thank GOD!!! :lol:

this one is going to stay im done playing mix and match with tanks
 
Wow, that's a lot of weight to put on the floor. I sure do hope the concrete will hold it up for you. You might want to put a lamp or something on the first floor: right below the 180 g. I agreed with Blide, move some rocks around :D

Just a FYI...

It looks like your 2 return lines are submerged pretty deep in the tank (pointing down) if you have a power failure or turn off the return pump you could possibly have siphon problems that would overflow your sump. :shock:
 
as far as the floor goes its held up for a year now so i pray that it will hold up :roll: the reason i have my returns facing down and deep is because of the BB it helps keep all the stuff i dont want pushed up front and i do have holes drilled to break the siphon in case of pump failure or power outage...when i set the rock up the water was real cloudy so i just put it where it looked good for then plus alot of the rock that was in the system got sold off with corals but i will move things around a bit ......i like the floor space in front and sides of the rock work i have a types of montipora , zoas and other things growing on the star board up front.
