150 gallon tank lighting

Tank measures 5x2x2. I currently have 1 Evergrow 120D LED fixture over my 20 gallon that I'm thinking of putting over my 150 and buying another to make 2. Would that be sufficient enough?

What about MHs or T5s? If t5s, how many bulbs? I'm thinking 8

I plan on a mixed reef. Mostly Lps

Thanks!

Good rule of thumb that I've seen work is 1 3watt led per gallon. Obviously optics, hanging distance etc play a part in that. For good par towards the bottom, you'll basically need 3 more additional fixtures besides the one you have now imo.

2 foot deep tank with leds no optics needed. I ran 30" deep tank about 5" off of water off of water. I grew sps on sandless bottom. Current tank 20" deep no optics leds about 6" off of water. My tank is 48"x26"x20" deep running 80-3 watt leds growing mostly sps and acans on sandless bottom. I can build you something if you want full spectrum and dimmable with or without apex.
