[Has anyone taken advantage of this deal from The Marine Center? 150 Gallon Marine Enterprises Crystal Sea Marine Aquarium Salt for $16.99, Comes in 150 gallon box.

[I would only do it if it was the bioassey. If it is the other salt CS makes it containes a dechlorinator. Might be a cheap alternative for those with FO tanks.]
 
[The bio-assay salt caused a lot of corals to bleach/RTN last year. Seems to work great with a new tank, but not in switching over.

I thought since this company relocated to Calif, the $10 shipping rate is no longer applicable to us? (I tried the link, but it didn't work at the moment.)]
 
[I started my tank with the CS bioassey and had good results. It takes forever to clear (10 hours) and was very hard to locate in this area. I switched to Oceanic when it hit the market with all those great reviews. After battling hair algae for 6 months I am considering switching back or at least switching to something else.



BTW CS bioassey was the salt Dr Ron claimed would prevent DSB crashes. His tank did eventualy crash anyway. :rolleyes:]
