Those of you running 12k bulbs, are you supplementing with some other light?

I can't remember if you went on the tank tour or not but we use mogul Reeflux 12ks in Lumen Bright reflectors powered by coralvue e-ballasts at the farm. IMO they have do have a nice blue look that might not need supplementation. I don't know how blue you'd like it. Check out the pictures of Lone Star Aquaculture--the montis and blue xenia. That should give you an idea of the color.

I have two 400 12ks on my tanks and I use VHO actinics as well.

I have two 250W 12k Reeflux and use T5's as well.

i run reef optics 14k's and actually prefer my actinics off at the time. But that is a personal choice more than anything.
