I'm almost done so I thought I would post some pics.
This weekend Tonia and I found an entertainment center when we went out to pick up some wood to make some cabinets and a canopy. I started analyzing and figured out this would cost less and I don't have to waste my weekends so here's what we came up with. I was afraid I wouldn't like it and it would be temporary but it's not too bad. I need to make a matching piece (hard to match their stain) to cover up the lights and hinge the top so I can lift it up and clean the lights.
 
The left hand side will host the electronics and the right side a top off tank.
I still need to move my 55 gallon inhabitants over and fire up the skimmer (which has a small drip from the supply water so I may have to move it to the sump).

Marc, I need to build a top off resivour for the right side :wink:
I did raise the lights about 4". Maybe another 4" till everything gets use to the reflectors.
 
sweet, finally a build log. about time, ive been waiting for it. lets see some more pics! looks good so far!
