So I started this as an experiment. I wanted a saltwater tank at work and planned on it only be FOWLR since was using an eclipse 1 hood that only had a standard 18" 15watt bulb. So I brought in some red mushrooms and they flourished. So I just kept adding coral. The growth is unbelieveable under such a small light. The bulb I am using right now is a 18,000K Hagen Power-Glo. I even have a peppermint shrimp in here that feeds from my hand.
The filtration is only the standard eclipse filter and I do a gallon water change once every 2 weeks.
