1 pump 2 Phosban Reactors?

Could I plumb two phosban reactors together with one pump to eliminate the need for extra tubing and 2 pumps? I was thinking of putting the pump on the first reactor, which would contain the activated carbon, which would in turn feed into the second reactor utilizing GFO. My only concern is having too little flow to make it through both reactors failing to be able to control the flow enough from the carbon reactor to the GFO reactor so that the GFO would be pulverized. Any ideas?

Yes you can, that is the way mine is hooked up using a MJ 1200 with a ball valve to control the flow rate. You can put different media in each one.

You can also make a manifold for the media reactors; therefore, if a certain type of media requires more flow than another, you can control it with a ball valve directly from the manifold. Here is a picture of how I am doing mine off of a manifold that is being feed directly from my return pump:

How you want to plump it completely depends on what you are trying to accomplish, but as everyone mentioned it is completely doable (more than one way to skin a cat).

Yea, the valves thing is a good idea because the water will take the path of least resistance. As the media changes in consistency, so will the water's path.
