1,376  reef articles

[Just wanted to share with you all a tool I've been working on for a while. Basically, a conglomeration of links to all the (quality) reef articles out there on the Internet. Or at least all I could find... hehe.

It's organized by subject and completely searchable, I think this is hands-down the most comprehensive resource for reefkeepers on the Internet, and a valuable research tool.

HERE:

http://www.reefsanctuary.com/knowledgebase

A quick note, yes it is on a site I own, but membership is not required to use this tool- it's there for everyone. I hope you find it useful, for yourself and for helping others learn more about this hobby. I was floored at how much information is really out there.]

[Thanks for the resource, Travis. It's an impressive collection. Are you going to try and maintain all those links as they change? I checked a few and a picture was missing - I wanted to see a good closeup of a Pyramidellid snail and wouldn't you know that was the only bad link in that article.

Thanks,
Chris

PS. Your logo looks more like a butterfly species to me, a curious choice for a reef tank, but to each their own.]

[Thanks guys!

The fish is an arc-eye hawkfish I used to have.

As far as keeping the links up to date, the software running the Knowledgebase is automated to

A) Check URL's and make sure the links work

and

B) Check for duplicate links

So a bad/duplicate link can't be submitted, and I can run a check on the existing ones whenever I want.

That should help a lot. There are some articles with missing images. I added them to the knowledgebase anyway because the content was still very valuable.
