29 gallon tank and cheap stand-free for pickup

It is currently wedged in a corner between two walls and a rubbermaid tub full of aiptasia; only visible from the top and one of the short sides. I can take a pic this weekend after I empty it out and move into my garage.

29 gallon tank and cheap stand-free for pickup

~29 gallon (30" wide x 12" deep x 18" tall) glass aquarium with the usual plastic top and bottom brace, low-end black plywood stand. Back of tank is painted black. It is not drilled/plumbed, just a plain tank. No light or top included. This may (likely) have scratches; I have not cleaned the...

    Gauging interest-Red Sea Reefer 350

I am beginning to move livestock from my Reefer 350 into my new Cade. It will take me 1-2 months to move everything (need to frag etc as I go), then I will be shutting down the Reefer. If someone is interested in the Reefer, I will give them first refusal on associated equipment (Kessil AP700...

WTB ‘Fiji’ Yellow Leather Coral, Sarcophyton elegans

I think he is out for now but he would like to do a group shipment rather than sending singles so if we can tell him we want 4 or something I think it would help.

WTB ‘Fiji’ Yellow Leather Coral, Sarcophyton elegans

The halides were 250DE Phoenix 14K. The Kessil I mostly run on a medium blue setting-I think maybe the third setting away from "Windex". Definitely bluer than those halides were.

WTB ‘Fiji’ Yellow Leather Coral, Sarcophyton elegans

I had one for many years first under halides then under a Kessil AP700 and it retained the color under the LED but did not grow as fast-but that could have been other factors since also a different tank. Lost it several years ago in a crash unfortunately.

You are welcome to try them of course, but I don’t think this is an ideal situation for a good result with Berghia. Spot treating with kalk etc might be a better option if you only have 5 aiptasia. If you are successful, you saved some money. If not, you could try Berghia later.

Peppermint shrimp are the highest risk for predation on Berghia. Generally I don’t suggest Berghia when you have only a few aiptasia. They do best if you have lots of aiptasia and the Berghia get a breeding population established.
